Training Courses
IBEW Local 586 Ottawa cares about the education of its members. It’s one of our mandates to ensure that our members are the most highly skilled electricians apprentices in the industry.
Our list of courses run all year long and are designed to ensure that our members are safe, educated, and prepared for the daily challenges of the job.
Notice For Apprentices
You need to complete the 30-hour Health & Safety, Basic Code Book and Construction I before you go to Basic Trade School.
If you have not completed the required pre-trade school training, you will NOT be eligible for reimbursement for trade school registration cost.
