Basic Code Book (Canadian)
This program is designed to provide new apprentices with a basic understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code Part I. 60% of the course is covered during class time and 40% of the course covered by work at home.
The program covers:
- The Code Sections
- Wire Sizing
- Conduit Sizing
- Determining Ampacities
- Box Sizing
- Load Calculations
- Basic Blueprint Reading
There are several quizzes, work sheets, a project and a final exam. The student must achieve a 60% average to pass the program.
