Mission Statement
The mission of the Local 586 Women’s Committee is to empower, inspire, educate and support all female members of Local 586. We are committed to promoting and advocating for the underrepresented groups within the IBEW and the retention of our current sisters. The committee will set goals based on the good of our local union and the interests of its members.
About Us
We meet once a month to discuss and address issues and concerns in the workplace, set goals and strategies to build and strengthen the committee, share ideas for events, activities and fundraising and provide mentorship to apprentices.
