Ontario Expands COVID-19 Vaccination Booking for More People

The past year has been long and strenuous. COVID-19 has touched all of our lives with isolation, illness and sadly for some, loss of life. With vaccinations ramping up, we are finally beginning to see a light at the end of the tunnel. 

As of Monday, May 3, 2021, at 8:00 a.m., individuals who are 18 and over in 2021 and live in one of the 114 hot spot communities (in Ottawa – that includes K1V, K1T, and K2V) will be eligible to book a COVID-19 vaccine appointment at a mass immunization clinic through the provincial online booking system. Essential workers in Group 1 are eligible to book as of this Thursday, and it is anticipated Group 2 (that includes construction) will be eligible to book next week.
