Updated: A message to Local 586 Members concerning COVID-19
Local 586 will be RESTRICTING access to the office. The office will be closed to walk-in traffic effective this Monday, March 16th to April 6th, 2020. Local 586 will be making adjustments to Local 586’s HIRING/LAYOFF procedures and we are temporarily suspending Article XII, Sec. 21 of the Local 586 By-laws. Also, Local 586 will be POSTPONING the IBEW OPC Hockey Tournament.
As the COVID-19 pandemic unfolds, we will do out best to notify members how this situation will effect our industry and give members as much up to date information as possible. Please see links and attached letters below for more information.
