Apprentice Competition

Are you an apprentice or do you know an apprentice who has the skills and knowledge to compete in a province wide Apprentice Competition? IBEW Local 586 is looking for a candidate to represent us at the annual Skills Canada/Ontario Apprentice Competition held in Toronto, May 4^th, 5^th and 6^th, 2020. The apprentice must be neat, clean and proficient in conduit bending, motor control, lighting control, installing electrical equipment and 2018 Canadian Electrical Code.

There will be preliminary written and practical test held at the hall in order to choose the best candidate.
