Collective Bargaining Agreement
Every three years we negotiate a new 3-year contract collectively. The current rates are:
Journeymen (Commercial package)
| + $49.16 | Hourly take home wage (minus applicable taxes) |
| + $5.90 | 12% vacation pay |
| + $10.78 | Pension |
| + $3.75 | Benefits |
| + $4.21 | Stabilization fund / Education fund |
| TOTAL PACKAGE | $73.80/hour |
At $10.78/hr. x 1800 regular hours in a year, that equals $19,404.00 into your personal pension account with Coughlin and Assoc.
Any overtime worked is double time, which means everything is doubled:
- Base rate $98.32/hour
- Pension $21.60/hour
- Vacation Pay $11.80/hour
